04 / Deployment planning

Preparing to deploy ICON's Titan Print System

Layered Construction is preparing to deploy ICON's Titan Print System in Texas beginning in 2027. ICON publishes that Titan can print the wall system for a 2,500-square-foot home in seven days, is designed to operate with two technicians, can print structures up to 27 feet tall, has a printable area of up to 12,000 square feet per story, and can produce wall systems at approximately $20 per square foot under ICON's stated assumptions, with customer deliveries beginning in Q2 2027. These are ICON-published capabilities, not guaranteed Layered Construction outcomes. Actual pricing, staffing, production and schedules depend on the design, location, site conditions, engineering and scope of the project.

Technical performance depends on the exact wall assembly, material, reinforcement, engineering and project conditions. Final designs require review and approval by the applicable engineers, design professionals and code officials.

The wall systems are produced by additive concrete construction — the process most people know as 3D printing — using ICON's Titan system.
